Wedding Cars

Car’s are expensive. Hiring cars is expensive. Hiring a wedding car is ridiculous!

As we all know budgeting is not my strong point but we completely under budgeted for wedding cars, we expected around £250/£350 but it turned out more £450/£650. The price does depend on the size & style of car your looking for and you can get cars for less, but we need a car that holds a minimum of 6 people as it will also be taking the bridesmaids to the church which limited our choices but we (I) know that we want a traditional style car and our 4 favourites were…

each car hold a minimum of 5/6 passengers and our favourite and also the cheapest of the bunch and the car I just booked this morning 😀 is…

The Regent Landaulette

this car hold 6 passengers comfortably. This was my favourite from the start as I have seen them at a few wedding fairs and sat in them. We got it from Cartwright’s cars for £425 for 3 journeys including ribbons, bows and bubbly. The best part is each car only does 1 wedding a day which means they aren’t trying to rush you on so they can get to the next job and you have as much time as you want to make stops and journeys for photos and other things.

As we are having a summer wedding (August) we wanted a car that had the option of roof down without being too windy and this has the perfect size hood that your not being blown around and it’s comfortable both with the hood up or down.

We would like to book transport for our bridesmaids and groomsmen but we’re thinking of just hiring a normal 8 seater limo nearer the time because as soon as you put wedding in front of anything the price goes up.

What wedding car are you having or are you saving by not using one?
